Designing Gen AI Chatbots and Apps

Generative AI is evolving from a tool that answers questions to one that can build useful AI solutions. In this hands-on 2.5-hour workshop, participants will learn how to create AI chatbots and develop simple web applications using natural language. Through live demonstrations and guided exercises with Google AI apps (Gemini, AI Studio), participants will explore how AI-powered tools can transform ideas into working prototypes, automate routine tasks, and solve real workplace challenges. By the end of the session, participants will have built a functional chatbot and a simple AI web app that can be adapted for their own work environments.

By the end of the workshop, participants will use Google AI apps like Gemini and AI Studio to:

1. Design and build a custom AI chatbot using prompts, knowledge sources, and frameworks.

2. Create simple web apps to generate dashboards, workflows without coding knowledge.

3. Evaluate, test, and improve these AI solutions to ensure they are accurate, useful, ethical, and safe.
