Our Speakers:
Janelle Lim brings over a decade of Human Resources and organisational development experience across both the private and public sectors, with exposure to healthcare, engineering, manufacturing and the public service.
As Assistant Director of HR at the Health Promotion Board, she leads a team overseeing manpower planning and HR business partnering across a range of functions, supporting workforce needs, advising on people and organisational matters, and partnering stakeholders to navigate evolving workforce requirements. Her broad cross-sector experience has given her a grounded understanding of how organisations operate, how roles and careers evolve over time, and the very real considerations that come with navigating career transitions.
This perspective is something she brings with her into the healthcare and community care space, an industry where the range of roles and career pathways is often wider and more varied than people might expect.
Sinha Shekhar brings a rare combination of clinical, operational, and strategic experience spanning Singapore's healthcare and community care ecosystem. As a former Director overseeing Allied Health at THK Nursing Home and Deputy Director of Corporate and Services Planning at SingHealth, he has navigated both the frontlines of care delivery and the broader landscape of healthcare planning and transformation.
As a practising Speech and Language Therapist, Sinha remains deeply connected to the realities of patient care, particularly in his work with the elderly and persons with disabilities. This active clinical grounding, combined with his policy development experience at the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), gives him a comprehensive understanding of how healthcare organisations grow, evolve and respond to the needs of the communities they serve.
Throughout his career, Sinha has worked across service quality enhancement, programme development and healthcare system transformation, giving him a well-rounded perspective on what it takes to build a fulfilling and impactful career in this sector
