Private Education Institution Graduate Employment Survey 2024/2025

Skills & Workforce Development Agency (SWDA) conducts the annual Private Education Institution (PEI) Graduate Employment Survey (GES) to survey employment outcomes of fresh graduates from full-time Bachelor’s level External Degree Programmes (EDPs) offered by PEIs in Singapore. All PEIs offering EDPs are required to participate in the survey.

For prospective students seeking higher education, the PEI GES findings enable you to make a more informed course decision.

The 2024/2025 survey, conducted from October 2025 to January 2026, received 61.6% responses from about 6,150 full-time graduates across 26 PEIs.

Key Survey Results

    • Employment outcomes remain stable with 78.9% of graduates in 2024/2025 securing employment within six months of graduation, comparable to 78.6% in 2023/2024

Notes:

    • Figures may not add up due to rounding.
    • Starting this year, to provide a fuller picture of graduates' employment status, graduates who secured employment (i.e. they were employed, accepted a job offer and were starting later, or were taking active steps to start a business venture) are reported as one category.

    • Median gross monthly salary for PEI fresh graduates in full-time permanent employment remained stable at $3,500.

1 Results of PEIs with fewer than 10 respondents are not published as there are too few economically active fresh graduate respondents for the data to be meaningful.

2 Response rate refers to the percentage of graduates from full-time degree programmes in PEIs who responded to the survey, excluding international students without valid pass type and did not respond to the survey. The calculation has been revised to better reflect response rate amongst graduates in the Singapore labour market.

Proportion of fresh graduates securing employment across all course clusters remained comparable between survey cohorts
