The Mid-Career Pathways Programme (MCPP) offers a four-to-six-month full-time attachment with an approved host organisation, giving you hands-on experience in a new industry while building relevant skills. You will receive allowance during the attachment, and if your performance is satisfactory, you may even be offered a full-time role — making this a great way to explore a new career.

Move forward with confidence with training incentives designed specially for drivers like you. Whether you are just starting to explore your options or already have a career goal in mind, this scheme aims to ease the financial burden as you take that next step.
From January 2027, eligible drivers can choose from around 2,000 SWDA -supported courses to kickstart their training journey. Drivers will receive a training incentive of $20 per hour, with a lifetime cap of 80 hours, amounting to up to $1,600 per driver. With the incentive helping to ease your rental fees and offset income foregone during training, you can focus on building new skills and taking that next step in your career.
